The Sharp EL-8140B is an arithmetic calculator with 8 digits precision and algebraic logic. It has 5 functions, 24 keys and an LCD (liquid crystal) display. The power source is 2×3v Silver Oxide batteries. The calculator was manufactured in Japan.

The calculator has basic arithmetic functions as well as a % key, Store and Comp functions. It originally came in a brown plastic wallet style case
